In Georgia there is an AI Data Center proposed to be built that may weaponize Eminent Domain laws to evict people from their homes and demolish them so the power hungry hyper scale data center can be built over the broken bones of their stolen homes (and 830 acres of surrounding wetlands and forest).

They`ll get paid off with "market value" for their property but if they resist to defend their homes against the corporate AI Data Center invaders it would result in removal at gun point by agents of the state.

So even if someone doesn't care about ecology and biodiversity loss at all, its worth highlighting that these AI Data centers are being built to empower billionaires (like Musk and Thiel), war profiteers and technocratic government domination (total surveillance grid/CBDC) schemes, and so any ordinary (non-yacht owning) citizens that get in the way will be squashed along side the forests and rivers in the name of "progress", "inevitability" and "efficiency". Thus, if you were shrugging about how Data centers are decimating forests, rivers, lakes and wetlands because you have anthropocentric prioritizes, you should know that if the AI Data Beast juggernaut wants the land you live on they will weaponize the state to take it. Now would be the time to resist.

In May 2026, residents reported that Georgia Power is initiating the process to seize private land and homes using eminent domain to build high-voltage transmission lines to support massive new AI data center projects, specifically in Coweta County.

The project involves acquiring or securing easements for over 330 private properties to support a 35-mile transmission line for the "Project Sail" data center.

Reports indicate that approximately 21 homes are slated for demolition, with residents potentially being forced to vacate their property by agents of the state.

Residents of Coweta County, Georgia have filed lawsuits to block the construction of a $17 billion data center development by Atlas Development.

Georgia Power has stated they will attempt to negotiate purchases and easements first, using eminent domain as a "last resort," say reports from WSB-TV and 11Alive.

"Project Sail" is intended to be a data center campus that will decimate roughly 830 acres of rural land (largely forested with some wetlands and private homes).

The 830-acre data center development in Coweta County, Georgia, is being acquired by Prologis, a major logistics real estate investment trust (REIT). While Atlas Development LLC originally proposed the project and currently owns the land, Prologis has the site under contract to take over development.
