Treetop Flyer by Stephen Stills
“I don't pay taxes 'cause I never file
I don't do business that don't make me smile”
I am really feelin this track, the sound and lyrics. I mean I cannot say I endorse gun or drug running personally, but the fact the story is about a guy that got drafted and then put his tax payer funded war racketeering pilot skills to use for his own racket does make me chuckle :)
“The government taught me, and they taught me right
Just keep down under the treeline, you might be alright”
Its also worth keeping in mind that the government is the number one smuggler of guns and drugs (and not just pharmaceutically approved opioids that kill thousands annually, but straight up poppy flower opium/heroin from Afghanistan fields the US military seized (and elsewhere) and then outsourced to locals to scale up narcotic production to flood the streets of US cities via CIA black ops) so if we are gonna morally criticize anyone for smuggling, lets start with the worst of the worst.
(check out my previous note for more info on the government drug running operations)
