Make money doing the work you believe in

I have recently learned that the Canadian government and our local monopolized power company racket (“hydro one”) intends to use expropriation aka eminent domain laws to seize, clearcut and bulldoze large tracts of land (including some of the last pockets of Carolinian forest left in south western Ontario) to put in a massive high voltage power line for feeding into their data centers, electric car battery and vehicle manufacturing/ charging facilities and chemical soaked hydroponic greenhouses and they call it “sustainable development”.

I met with one of the land owners that stewards a patch of Carolinian forest with old growth oak and hickory today and walked through the area that is intended to be decimated if this power line construction goes forward.

I surveyed the forest in the intended path of the powerline and found 3 white oaks over 250 years in age and the biggest chinquapin oak I’ve ever seen (11.5 feet in circumference at 5 feet above ground, I’ll post a pic of him in next note).

We are told that electric vehicles are “sustainable” and ai data centers are “necessary” and yet they want to sacrifice some of the last mother trees we have left in the oak family here in south western Ontario on the alter of “sustainable development”.

How is that sustainable ? We have less than one quarter of one percent of the original Carolinian forests left in our county.

It’s time we said enough is enough and stood up to protect what’s left.

The image below shows the area they intend to clearcut from the Rhoads family’s forested property to put in their data center, electric car and greenhouse racket power line.

I will be putting my other typical postings on hold to do more research and writing an article on this situation in the coming month to raise awareness and resist this totalitarian and ecocidal attack on the forest of this land. So thanks in advance to all subscribers for your patience and understanding.
