30 years of expertise swept away in 11 minutes. It's the end of an illusion. 🤯

Last week, I had a brutal experience. I fed an AI a strategic brief that I would have billed €80,000 for two months' work just two years ago.

The clock? 11 minutes. The machine produced the market analysis (150 sources), strategic scenarios, and the 40-slide deck

My first reaction? "I'm obsolete. My job no longer exists." But after analyzing the content, I understood that we were living the end of an illusion, not the end of a profession.

The traditional consulting model is dead. 🪦

McKinsey, Deloitte, BCG... all the major firms are making the same observation: we have entered the era of the imperative to scale. What is dying before our eyes is:

👉 "Grunt work": Compiling data is now worthless.

👉 The sale of "man-days": No one wants to pay for your research time.

👉 The "knowing" expert: AI will always have read more reports than you.

We no longer sell execution; we design the collaboration between humans and machines. Here are the 3 critical skills that AI will never be able to automate (and on which I'm betting everything for 2026):

1️⃣ Political Navigation: AI can suggest a perfect restructuring, but it doesn't know how to announce it to a director whose job is on the line. It doesn't know how to manage hidden agendas, egos in EXCOM, or backroom alliances. Aligning humans remains a purely human art.

2️⃣ Empathy at Scale: AI doesn't feel fear. It doesn't see which manager is disengaging, which team is ready to sabotage change purely out of anxiety for the future. Understanding an organization's psychology is the only way to move a strategy from paper to reality.

3️⃣ Gray Area Judgment: AI gives probabilities (e.g., "73% chance of success"). But it doesn't take the risk. It's up to you to decide if that 73% is worth betting your company's future on. AI provides the information; you bring the courage.

My "old hand" conviction: If you learn "prompt engineering" simply to produce more content, you've already lost. The real victory lies in designing the governance and systems that allow AI to augment your organization without destroying its culture.
