Same. I love writing detailed descriptions but for some reason this does not extend to physical descriptions of characters. I would rather give a couple of details and leave the rest to the imagination. Maybe because as readers it’s easier to place ourselves in the POV?

Everyone always asks me if I pictured anyone in particular when writing any of my books, and the truth is, largely, no I did not. I am much more concerned with picturing the layout of their kitchens.
