Later this week, I will be writing my 700th edition of Art Every Day.

But it’s funny to think that in all this time, there are so many of my own personal favourite artworks which I’ve not even gotten around to writing about - even though they were all very high up on my original list of pieces to cover when I was first in the process of planning this newsletter!

So, just for a bit of fun today, I wanted to make a little mood board of a small selection of those works - if only to give them a long overdue salute here!

When I first started writing on Substack, my readership was absolute 0 (Literally, even my own family didn’t care to subscribe at the beginning!).

So I can never take for granted just how much things have grown since then. But, even more than the numbers, I am grateful to each of you as individuals for the enthusiasm, the support and the kindness you all bring to Art Every Day (not to mention all the insightful comments or personal stories many of you have shared too!)

Truly, it means more to me than you may know.
