Good article. Hysteria in all it's forms should be rightly called out as unmanly and illogical. The rise of social media has caused both sides of the political spectrum to lean in to hysterics and catastrophizing.

These are feminine and irrational traits that deserve to be mocked and ridiculed. They have no place in serious political discussions. Unfortunately, it seems that the ascendency of a stoic masculine leader, such as Eisenhower, has been rendered impossible by the nature of modern social media.
