I too am opposed to banning books. But I’m equally opposed to canceling authors (like J.K. Rowling), reselling books stripped of the author’s name (like Harry Potter), and, worst of all, rewriting a deceased author’s work to “suit a more sensitive generation,” like Roald Dahl’s books. If we find banning books reprehensible, attacking authors and rewriting their work should be equally reprehensible.
