Make money doing the work you believe in

I may write more about this later but for now I don't want people to assume this article was an attempt to subvert Christianity at large (I do however wish to attaq certain “circles” promoting fake news) to subliminally promote paganism. Efforts to revive paganism will run into the same issues here, and arguably in worse ways.

Leaning on personal experience over revelation will likely lead many people into forms of paganism, as this is the central difference between it and Abrahamic religions. But you may already be able to tell, that makes it essentially impossible to produce a “public religion” of any sort, as everyone has different personal experiences and spiritual tinges. Getting everyone in the same room to perform and enjoy the same rituals to the same gods with the same understandings of what is taking place would be incredibly difficult. Currently, there's no authoritative voices on these things, and as it is in Christianity there's no punishment for rejecting authority.

Someone would have to “do the work” in making some type of structure or institution where people can gravitate towards some form of common pagan experience. I think this can be done on the grounds of ethnos as it was done before. But we are a very long way from this…
