I woke up this morning to a delightful surprise. I’m not touting that my paid subscriber count went up because, while it is an incredible honor for someone to find that kind of value in my work, what touched me so deeply were the powerfully kind words of support that accompanied their generosity.

It’s easy to be inspired by the work of others, but there is something so special about getting to know when it happens. Writing is a solitary process and letting your words go into the world can be daunting. Being seen in any context matters, and having been seen today, I’m standing taller.
