Printemps NYC built out a full in-store activation around The Devil Wears Prada 2. And it was curated by Molly Rogers, the film’s costume designer.
The installation reimagines Miranda, Andy, Nigel, and Emily as scenographic moments throughout the store: the fashion closet, Miranda’s desk, a Met Gala setting. Every piece is shoppable. All from Printemps’ own floor.
It’s a smart move for a store still establishing its identity in New York. Borrow an iconic fashion universe, dress it in your own inventory, and let people walk through it. The line between retail and cultural experience keeps getting harder to find.
