Availability Over Ability
Moses said he couldn’t speak. Gideon said he was the least. Jeremiah said he was too young. Every one of them had a reason they weren’t the right person for the job. Every one of them was wrong.
God has never been limited by what you can’t do. He’s been waiting on what you won’t surrender.
The gap between where you are and where God has called you to be is rarely a skill gap. It’s an availability gap. It’s the part of your schedule, your comfort, your plans that you haven’t yet placed on the altar.
Ability says, “What can I bring?” Availability says, “Here I am — take what you need.”
The burning bush wasn’t looking for the most qualified shepherd in Midian. It was looking for one who would stop, turn aside, and pay attention. Moses’ destiny didn’t hinge on his eloquence. It hinged on his willingness to show up.
Your gifting will develop in the field. Your anointing will deepen in the assignment. But none of it moves until you move — until you make yourself available to the One who already knows what He can do through you.
The question God is asking you today isn’t “Are you able?”
It’s “Are you available?”
