I think we take it in stages. One thing we can do is stop paying property tax. I know there are ramifications for doing this: Fines etc. but we must take on the system. One basic principle is the right to life. I don't care what the revenue say about my requirement to pay taxes- If it impinges on my basic ability to live then they can fuck off. End of story. Put me in prison at that stage if they like because I'd rather be dead than pay their tax for being alive.

Property tax is just a start. They aren't looking for too much income taxes from me but I pay them a pittance. They send me threatening letters but don't do anything about it. (I never use the term "owing" tax. That term doesn't apply where tax is concerned.)

Working within the system is guaranteed to fail I'm afraid. I'm all for using "art of war" tactics: Don't make it easy for them by painting a target on our backs and publicly showing defiance- Except where it's necessary. But make it really awkward for them. Screw up their system in a million different subtle/ small little ways. That's the smartest way to take them down.
