I love the quiet of early mornings, and will frequently roll out of bed to explore an area before the throngs of people. I am not a fan of “the throngs.”
On this particular morning in Venice, the sharp diagonal lines of Doge’s Palace caught my attention, and I thought it would make a striking black and white image.
It was only after I uploaded the photo to my computer that I noticed the woman. Enjoying the solace of the early morning she tells a great story without saying a word.
