Apropos of this summit with Daniel Oppenheimer and the first third of the most recent episode of the Dan/Blake show: I’ve found myself reflecting on the way that to be the kind of interesting that I think Dan means in 2021-23 you had to express a kind of coy sympathy for rightist views-this is not a judgement or a call for moral hygiene, I did this too-which on the one hand was interesting, but was also entirely divorced from Actually Existing American Rightism. I don’t know, it’s something I’m pretty divided about.
