Many of the big questions in philosophy are ultimately metaphysical:

Does God exist? Do we have free will? Do we have a soul? Are there objective moral facts?

Because these are metaphysical questions, they reliably reproduce the same positions over and over.

Realism: the thing our concept refers to exists and it is not identical to anything…
