Ossiana Tepfenhart, this isn’t what the right-hand path is about at all. The right hand path is not at all a synonym for religious fundamentalism. Those in stage 2 of spiritual growth aren’t on any path at all.

You reject the right-hand path because you misunderstand it.

But that’s fine. Explore the left hand path and see what the demons have to say and you’ll find out for yourself the big problems to be found there. Walk the path if you must but don’t delude yourself into thinking you have finally found THE path. This is a path and you will learn from it. I’ve warned you of the dangers and will stop hectoring you about it. Please just be skeptical of what they tell you. They lie a whole lot. They can’t help themselves. It is their nature.
