People want different things from social media. I like to joke that Notes is “Twitter for English Majors.”

That’s basically what this is. We’re mostly here to sell long-form writing. Thus, the depth of the thinking will usually be much better.

And there being no ads makes all the difference too. That the “ads” are just other writers to befriend.
