It’s a boring way of saying “I am a loyal member of the herd incapable of original thought.”

Partisans are so predictable and annoying.

I feel, but cannot prove, that for a lot of centrists, saying “this platform/vibe would be bad for the Dems’ electability” is just a nice way to get around saying “I don’t like this platform/vibe”
