I get that this is one of my weird obsessions, but it's also true that it's an issue that contemporary liberalism is just totally incapable of addressing with grace. Reveals how utterly broken the ideology is.
We plebs are lucky indeed to be lorded over by such brilliant, upstanding and humanitarian philanthropists during (no coincidence, I'm sure) these very difficult times. And here we have another reason to just love January - these annual meetings at Davos recharge our batteries with hope, reassurance and awe. I sincerely hope those slopes are safe - though, happily, it's doubtful that Dear Leader Klaus takes to the skis these days.
