Like has been said, It's nothing we haven't seen before, just another obscenity exhibition, flaunting the decadent total corruption of the elites in the faces of the working class majority. No one will do anything about it, and nothing will change. And for sure all this sex stuff is a distraction from the transnational money laundering and investment deals funding even larger scale horrors that he was doing on that island.

But lets talk about the sex stuff a bit.

At least half of the thrill, excitement, as well as reward and satisfaction, of the sexual act is winning the game of seduction, is being desired, is the lust in the other that you awaken. Authentic enjoyment is always and can only be mutual, reciprocal, complimentary. I am certainly not unique and this is surely shared experience of all relatively healthy individuals: the biggest turn on ever is when she hungers for me; and I go limp immediately if I ever sense that she is not feeling it.

Stay with me. There is an important point here.

The liberal, libertarian ideological subtext of these files, the previous Jimmy Savile case (tip of a horrid iceberg), the Diddy affair, and all such "shocking reveals" is that anyone who can get away with such crimes would commit them; that every normal person would choose to "indulge" themselves the same way that the Western elites do, which is to say by harming others, if they could.

That this is everyone's fantasy is the actual sick fantasy of bourgeois false consciousness; and it is the opposite of reality.

The reality is that even the vast majority of those who think, have been convinced, that they want to do to unwilling victims what Prince Andrew and George Bush Senior does, will recoil in absolute shame and disgust when they actually face a fake-smiling girl who can not hide her unwillingness, or a frightened child.

The reality is that the only people who rape, who are capable of enjoying rape, are those who feel desperately powerless, and are deprived of sincere human connection -- a structural condition of the ultra wealthy who literally don't know if anyone truly wants to be their friend, or what it feels like to be desired and to be loved for who they are, rather than for the contents of their bank account and all that which come with it.

Even the authentic ego-boost from successful seduction is for ever denied these pathetic, broken, half-men. The personally gratifying knowledge that it is nothing but one's own charms, wit, and *animal magnetism" which attracts the other, is entirely and always out of reach for them.

This is the ghoulish dialectic of alienation: to the degree that men are powerful as bourgeoisie, they are powerless as men.

So they are left with the sad, sad replacement satisfaction of knowing that their money and power is able to coerce the weak for their ersatz, one dimensional, one sided pleasure. Can you imagine the deepest self loathing that this produces? Which then in turn drives further cruelty.

The only kind of individuals who are capable of pleasure via coercion, from doing harm to others, of enjoying (non consensual) sadism, of the depravity described in the files, are those whose humanity had been taken away from them, by the circumstances of exorbitant privilege (neglectful parents, constitutional loneliness, etc.), accurately portrayed by Bret Easton Ellis in his novel "American Psycho".

Not empathising with or excusing the repulsive criminals, and it may sound very cheesy, but the trite adage is true, without exception:

Hurt people hurt people.
