Re: Gabe Dixon... Totally agree: huge talent. Couple summers ago was in Richmond VA to see TTB w Los Lobos opening. Last minute, Los Lobos dropped; an illness. After several minutes, Gabe walked out solo and introduced himself saying he was gonna perform a few tunes. Pretty freakin' intimidating, NOT easy, obviously. He sits down, plays two cool tunes solo with vocals, Susan comes out, then Kebbi Williams, several others, then Derek... and this Gabe-led mini-set just unfolds organically. Love Los Lobos, but glad I got to see this impromptu effort that put a spotlight on sheer talent and potent positive vibe of entire band 👍
