Spectacular images, last night from Amsterdam, where King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima attended the concert that ended the two-day celebration for the anniversary of the Liberation from Nazi-fascism.

The inauguration party for the Dutch king always remains the most beautiful of this century for me, with the cruise along the canals of Amsterdam at sunset and the capital all orange. And this evening of Willem Alexander and Maxima along the Amstel recalls those atmospheres.

The sovereigns then attended a concert in which numerous local music stars took part.
