No sooner had they settled into Fredensborg Palace, their summer residence, than Frederik and Mary of Denmark embarked on the Dannebrog, the royal yacht.

A short cruise, from Copenhagen to Helsingør, where they were greeted by 27 cannon shots and then, subsequently, another 27 from Kronborg Castle, when they arrived near it. The monarchs thus inaugurated the vessel's return to sea. Things will get serious in June, with a journey that will stop in Randers, Odense, Norddjurs, and Holbæk.
