This is accurate, because most democracies have parliamentary systems. Perhaps when the dust settles we should amend our Constitution to a parliamentary system that would enable such an outcome. Parliamentary systems also promote multiple parties and consensus. Can one imagine Trump in the question and answer sessions of Parliament?
The other three Frontier Nations of the Empire were smart in sticking it out, we can look to the True North Strong and Free as an example of better governance.
