I know shopping doesn’t solve all my problems, but I bought more birdseed, and a new thistle feeder (for goldfinches), and a $180 bird bath on clearance for $10 (the top was cracked), and a $15 ceramic salad bowl from goodwill that I’m going to paint to match the pedestal. I am determined to liven up the part of my yard that is making me upset because of the terrible arborist.

I also got a fence plank from my dad’s barn and a PVC pipe and I’m going to try to build a birdhouse with a hand saw and a drill (couldn’t find his miter saw and he wasn’t home to lend a hand).
