Yesterday I saw a comment on Facebook that made me want to scream and cry.

Two tall, old pines had been cut down on a waterfront property and the comment read “Good, down with that sh*t! A nice view is important.”

How do we get the general public to understand more about ecology, biodiversity and how connected it all is? To understand that if we keep thinking like that, bugs and birds will die and eventually we won't have fresh air nor be able to grow enough crops and fruit.

It feels rather hopeless sometimes.
