FREUDIAN SLIP: Trump accidentally admits he wants to CRUSH your healthcare

In a stunning moment that revealed exactly what Republicans have always planned, Donald Trump fumbled through what was supposed to be a routine policy statement and accidentally told the American people the truth. Standing before supporters, Trump declared that "one of the first targets must be the crushing healthcare," before catching himself and attempting to walk it back.

He couldn't walk it back. The words were already out.

Trump then tried to reframe the slip, saying he wanted to "crush the, and take over the, healthcare situation." But the damage was done. In one unscripted moment, decades of Republican healthcare strategy got accidentally narrated out loud by the man leading it.

This is not a gaffe in the traditional sense. This is a window. While millions of Americans rely on the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Medicare for their survival, the president of the United States stood at a podium and his brain defaulted to the word "crushing" when describing what he wants to do to their coverage.

Democrats have been sounding the alarm for years. Republicans want to gut the healthcare system that working families depend on. Trump just confirmed it himself.
