The app for independent voices

Not satire. Inexplicably, Amazon Prime now offers an “abridged” version of It’s a Wonderful Life (alongside the full film, to be clear) that cuts out the entire climax of the film, the alternate-world Pottersville sequence that results in George’s epiphany that he has lived a pretty wonderful life. The whole movie builds to THIS SEQUENCE. It’s the WHOLE POINT. Is there a single human on the planet that has any actual interest in motion pictures who would want to watch this version of the film?

Why did Amazon Prime butcher Frank Capra's classic?
