Garland v. Cargill

Held: Semi-automatic weapons are NOT machine guns, and "bump stocks" do not a machine gun make. Nor can a Federal agency make regulations the way that was done in the case of the ATF's ban on "bump stocks."

Based on the text of the ruling, the STRONG implication is that "Chevron Deference" (the Court's 40-year-old rule that a regulatory agency's interpretation of the law takes precedence, whenever the law is ambiguous) will be held Unconstitutional in the next few weeks.
