Not to "hijack" this post, but is there any ivermectin dosage information for cats who may be suffering from cancer? My vet thinks it's cancer due to an open wound not healing after 2 months, and if it is, recommends a toe amputation.

Of course I would like to prevent this, and am willing to try. The little I found on the web tends to discuss heartworm, mites etc., and typically warns of the extreme dangers of "overdosing".
