sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

Rachel Maddow has a gift for filtering out the noise and distractions and narrowing her focus on the things to pay the MOST attention to - here’s her top 3 things to keep an eye on.

You made it, you own it

You always own your intellectual property, mailing list, and subscriber payments. With full editorial control and no gatekeepers, you can do the work you most believe in.

They've built them, now where are the tenants for 33 Innovation Park "spec" buildings? How many in our community are struggling to get ahead financially? And a sentence upheld for a violent offender.

America cannot long remain free, nor first among nations, if it becomes the kind of place where universities are dismantled because they don't align politically with the current head of the government.

Best mental reset I’ve learned:

If your mind is loud — Write.

If your mind is empty — Read.

If your mind is racing — Walk.

If your mind is tired — Sleep.

If your mind is sharp — Build.

Most problems are just mismatched energy. Get the inputs right, the rest follows.

I'm not going to lie, I feel an overwhelming sense of doom and despair. I feel like the fight is already lost and not a single person around me seems to think there is anything wrong, and even if they do, they just shrug their shoulders and care little of engaging in any sort of resistance to any of this. I feel completely alone. My wife and I are spending some time in NYC shortly and I told her I do not want to support any business enforcing the vax pass. She basically lost it and told me I wa…

Sorry to hear that. This craziness is ripping apart through the seams of families, friendships, etc. This will end, but the damage done to (Western) society will be huge.

Maybe you have already shown your wife information from other sources apart from MSM and gov; the issue would be the appeal to authority thing (since the info doesn't from authoritative sources, she could dismiss it). Show her info from Israel, one of the most vaxed countries in the world.

whatever happens, avoid the sense of do…

Do you really think this will go forever? People eventually will recover their senses (although in a sloooow way); how it ends and what happens afterwards, that's another matter.

I fear how long it will take to go away (years? decades?) and what will happen in the interim.

Benjamin's avatar

In the interim, it might not be pretty. Specially as gov and their lackeys seems to be getting desperate.

Your notion of "this can't go on forever" basically seems to mean "eventually they will win completely so they don't have to be so intense about all this."

That's going on forever.
