I'm a UK based reader of Coffee & Covid and whilst I agree the existing Conservative government were ejected on the basis of their handling of the past years (and their optics) I have to disagree that Labour have got in due to going against vaccine mandates. Labour are the more totalitarian of the two and wanted to push harder and faster on the lockdown and supported vaccine mandates as far as I am aware. Liberal Democrats have also done well in the election and they too supported the lockdowns and mandates. We have a Uniparty and narrow Overton Window here too alas.
