I have twice started the tub water, left it to fill while I do "one more thing", found several more things to do, and flooded the house. I now have a self imposed rule that I cannot leave a room with water running (I also have a Laundry Room sink incident). I do wonder, though, if I wore a towel while doing the "thing" if it would serve as a reminder that the tub is running. May try it.
