(Last year I cold emailed Rachel, because I connected her name to the fact she was working with Ken Meyers at Mars Hill Audio Journal, and was like very cool job, how did that happen? and it was a funny and fun interaction. And then she told me about this forthcoming collection! I have learned to love cold contacting. Like in response to Brad East’s recent CT piece, where he unexpectedly told me in response to “keep up the good work.”)
