We introduced this feature to help fit more body types; as we all know, buying jeans that fit perfectly is an absolute nightmare and most women get a waist gap or the hip/thigh measurement is off. The cinch is designed to alleviate that (with an added bonus of them still fitting when your body naturally fluctuates).
