As Emily Sundberg reports, we are exploring how sponsorships can work on the platform for creators’ benefit. This is a pilot program to help creators earn more revenue.

We think this effort can also make life easier for those who want to do sponsorships (which is not everyone), so they can spend less time on admin and more time on their core editorial work.

The sponsorships program is specifically focused on creators’ substacks, not Substack’s social features.

The key principle: Substack makes money only when creators make money.
