My business requires a line of communication in order to take orders, answer questions, and help with installation of the product that I build. Cel phones have released me from the anchor of a land line, allowing me to tend to other chores while still being available to sell my product. The "smart" part of the phone is disabled. I abhor the thought of having my eyes glued to a tiny screen while all the interesting things in the physical world pass me by.

At home, my laptop is my go-to device where I get the news.
