Pray for the persecuted church.

Like really pray.

As I write this,

brothers and sisters are beaten and raped

condemned wrongfully and in chains

separated from family for years and years and years

tortured

for choosing Christ.

May we have a fraction of their faithfulness

May we have a fraction of their courage

May we have a fraction of their joy

May we have a fraction of their knowledge of the living God, whose name is Faithful and True.

It’s not that your problems and my problems don’t matter. They do. His eye is on the sparrow. But, so help us God, me more than anyone, let’s have some perspective, too.
