UPDATE: Bloomberg published a report including proof of severe sexual harassment by Miles Hewstone. You can imagine that reading this - especially about someone I really admired - was shocking and disappointing. It makes me incredibly sad and indignant to know that so many women were affected terribly by his unacceptable behavior, and that many even had to leave Oxford University to get away from him and feel safe, when the opposite should have been the case: him leaving and consequences being applied.

Oxford University doesn’t publish anything on this, nor on the unacceptable harassment by other professors that Bloomberg reports on. Instead, Hewstone is simply listed as Emeritus. That is misleading and creates further risk. I hope Oxford will change this, soon.
