The National Capital Commission has released its Corporate Plan 2025 to 2030. It launches a multi-year effort to rehabilitate historic assets across its portfolio.

The NCC stewards built assets with an approximate replacement value of $2.2 billion. That inventory includes official residences, 145 bridges, 23 urban parks, parkways, monuments, and kilometres of waterfront and pathways. The plan targets repairs to the Escarpment, Lady Grey Drive Wall, Confederation Boulevard, and the official residences portfolio.

At LeBreton Flats, implementation of the Master Concept Plan continues toward mixed-use housing, parks, and public spaces on former industrial land. Studies advance for an additional eastern interprovincial bridge and the Alexandra Bridge replacement. Actions from the Sustainable Development Strategy 2023 to 2027 push toward net-zero emissions and climate resilience.
