sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

In other matters, I haven't changed my view of that alleged 'debate' - it simply was not worthy of being noted as a U.S. presidential debate. It was a CNN media event to collect viewership ratings for that company's business profile. If one reads the transcript of the 'event' without watching it, you come away with a far different view than the media and partisan frenzies going on since said event. I recommend doing that.…
I agree with the accusation of media paralysis in reporting the debate. I watched the entire debate and was struck by Trump’s verbal diarrhea of the usual lies, half truths and meaningless noise that I presumed Joe Biden was so stunned he could not respond with rationality.
The President did fumble a couple of times and age could produce such moments but a dedicated person must be weighed by accomplishment rather than stage presence.
Trump was resuming his role as a TV entertainer and played the part well. As in his life he relishes and enjoys creating the image of capability much as did Edgar Bergen’s “Charlie McCarthy.” A puppet without visible strings.
