The Girls Are Not Fine is out in India on April 30th, and I have approximately nineteen feelings about it at any given moment. One of them, increasingly, is: I want this book to reach readers in the US, UK, and Australia. The diaspora audience for this book is real and large and excited and deeply underserved by publishing, and I’m trying to figure out how to get there.
