A few more predictions have come true from the RFK Jr. reading I posted last year (May 9, 2025).
I said in that reading that he would face MAJOR blowback on his attempts to limit or block vaccines. We’ve seen some major movement from the courts this week in that regard. The cards predicted he would attempt to block vaccines, but that we would ultimately still keep access to the major vaccines in the end because I got the 3 of Cups (celebrating) and Queen of Swords (scientific/academic/intellectual queen). Science will prevail!
Here’s what happened in court: A Federal court this week blocked RFK Jr.’s moves to upend US vaccine policy stating that the Health and Human Services Secretary ignored established protocols in altering the childhood immunization schedule and overhauling a CDC pane, arguing the changes he and his agency directed likely violated federal law. And the judge stalled changes federal health officials made to the childhood immunization schedule in January as well as halted all the decisions the vaccine panel has made since Kennedy reformed the committee last year, all the way back to June 2025.
This article I attached says, “The judge’s ruling stated, ACIP members are typically vetted through a rigorous process. In his ruling, Murphy argued the government circumvented that protocol, raising a ‘substantial likelihood that the newly appointed ACIP fails to comport with governing law.’ Murphy added that ACIP’s mandate is to evaluate vaccines and its new members ‘appear distinctly unqualified’ for the task, supporting the plaintiffs’ charge that the panel’s reformation was ‘arbitrary and capricious.’”
Therefore, the federal court ruling says that the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee cannot move forward under the changes RFK Jr. imposed and reversed every action the committee had taken since summer 2025. This puts the brakes on Kennedy’s attempts to claw back vaccine access!
And if you follow Michael Wolff who still has inside sources in the White House, he has been reporting that Trump himself has told RFK Jr. to cool it on all the anti-vaccine stuff after seeing the backlash in their internal polling. They’ve seen that the large majority of voters (even GOP voters) favor access to vaccines, and Trump is not happy with the public response and how that looks. Wolff reports that Trump’s staff have said he told Kennedy to lay off vaccines and stick ONLY to the food industry changes he has talked about. So that is something to keep an eye on. I’ll need to do an updated reading on RFK Jr. to see if there is a chance he could leave early. That’s the vibe I get.
To understand what the court did this week regarding vaccines and RFK Jr.’s actions, here is how Your Local Epidemiologist summarized this ruling:
“The judge temporarily ruled that the decisions made over the past year are invalid, because the process itself broke the law in three ways:
The CDC bypassed ACIP, which Congress requires. Multiple federal laws covering insurance coverage, Medicaid, veterans’ benefits, and the Vaccines for Children program explicitly tie benefits and obligations to ACIP’s recommendations. The HHS Secretary cannot simply change the immunization schedule without ACIP’s involvement.
The new ACIP was not “fairly balanced” as required by the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). Of the 15 members, the court found only about 6 had meaningful vaccine-related expertise. ACIP’s own charter requires members to be knowledgeable in immunization practices, vaccine use, or vaccine safety research. The rushed appointment process (replacing all 17 members in roughly two days, without normal outreach or vetting) further undermined the committee’s legitimacy.
Changes were arbitrary and capricious. The government gave no real explanation for departing from decades of established process, other than that it was following a presidential memo. That’s not enough under the Administrative Procedure Act.
What does this mean for you right now?
You can get the vaccines you want, for free, based on the best available evidence, and with the same trusted conversations with your doctor. All of the vaccine policy changes RFK Jr. put in place have now been reversed to their pre-June 2025 state.
Bottom line: This is a huge win. It restores access to vaccines (for now) and puts the process that determines who can access them back on track.
What’s next? This ruling is a temporary hold on ACIP while the case moves through the courts.
A much-anticipated ACIP meeting this week was expected to include several votes, including on Covid-19 vaccines. ACIP meetings cannot proceed with the current members, so the meeting is cancelled.”
