Going the extra mile when hosting — This month, I hosted friends for dinner a few times & also helped throw a surprise birthday party. And each time, I purposefully did a little something extra that I wouldn’t typically do. For example, for the birthday party, I got balloons (I literally have never done this in my life??) and tied little ribbons to each one (pictured above), and it turned out so cute and special! For the dinner gatherings, I got creative with the desserts instead of just grabbing GF cookie dough. For one, I made little strawberry coco whip parfaits, and for another, I ordered these speciality sour fruit candies for us all to try, and passed the bags around with chopsticks! To me, this is what makes hosting go from a chore to a hobby — get creative & do a little something extra
