God sees us as the full picture of who we will be, on the day we are conceived.

Perfection isn’t about being the “full stature of Christ” on the very first day of your being. It’s progressing through the process of getting there, by God’s sovereign hand.

We already are everything He made us to be, which is why it’s so easy for Him to correct us when we’ve begun going astray. He knows who we are and how & why we get confused, because He made us and formed us in our mothers’ wombs.
