The plant takes at least 7 years to mature. Some of the best tequilas use agaves that are 14.
A distiller commits to a plant they won't harvest for years. A slow roast to coax the sugars out. A stone wheel to crush the piña. Long fermentation. Careful distillation.
I don't think love can operate on a short timeline.
Sometimes it looks like planting something today that you won't taste for a decade.
