The app for independent voices

This is picture I took of West Point Lighthouse in Seattle. It was featured in the video for one of my favorite songs. Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog.

Chris Cornell wrote those songs after losing his best friend Andrew Wood to a drug overdose. Grief made into music.

But here's what gets me.

When Eddie Vedder came to Seattle to front what would become Pearl Jam, he was essentially stepping into Andrew's shoes.

Chris could have closed the door. Instead he opened it wider and invited Eddie to sing with him.

That's what love does. It makes room.
