Summary of Major Strike Locations in 2025

• Somalia: The U.S. dramatically increased its air campaign against the al-Shabaab militant group, conducting at least 111 strikes, which surpassed the combined totals of the three previous administrations.

• Yemen: The U.S. resumed strikes against Houthi targets, with over 1,000 airstrikes conducted by the end of April under "Operation Rough Rider," and a total of 931 American and British airstrikes recorded by the Houthis by early January 2025.

• Iran: In June 2025, U.S. forces attacked three nuclear facilities as the only U.S. offensive action in the Iran-Israel war that year.

• Venezuela/Caribbean/Eastern Pacific: The U.S. launched an unprecedented campaign of military action in the Western Hemisphere, targeting alleged drug-trafficking boats.

As of December 31, 2025, there were at least 35 strikes on 36 vessels, killing at least 115 Innocent people. A separate CIA drone strike also hit a port facility in late December.
