Right. I am now clearly spending my day thinking aloud on Substack when I should be using this mental energy for writing. So, I am going away to do that.

Also, I have finally tackled my old friend’s soon-to-be-husband on his tea-making practices and learnt that he does not have one because he has never drunk tea. Tea-ignorance does not enrage me in the same way that tea-heresy does. I am taking a ‘noble savage’ stance here. However, this must be remedied urgently so he can live a full and enlightened life and also bring my friend to the light. Instruction must now commence.
